Job description

Retail Operations Coordinator

This role supports the Retail Operations team by ensuring stores are informed of and following operational standards. The coordinator helps maintain effective and accurate tools that enable store teams to perform their jobs successfully.

BE THE ISLAND GUIDE

  • Update the Retail Operations Process and Procedure (ROPP) guide as directed and assist in creating new policies and procedures in partnership with Senior Ops leadership when needed.
  • Provide administrative support to Finance, HR, and corporate leaders by maintaining accurate and consistent guidelines.
  • Assist with preparing and distributing daily and weekly retail communications, ensuring messages are posted and delivered through Shiftnote, Surveys, and the Retail Calendar. Maintain communication tools so stores have current information to operate effectively.
  • Develop and roll out Store Communication Board content, coordinating with office departments to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate and support meetings / events, including yearly field leadership seminars and new field leadership training.
  • Administer daily / weekly coding responsibilities of store / operations invoicing through Ottimate.
  • Assist with coordination of third-party vendor relationships (Digilock, Shiftnote, Amazon, Snappy, etc.) as directed.
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries in the Retail Operations / Communications Inbox.
  • Generate and distribute end-of-month (EOM) reporting to field leaders. Run inventory reports to identify efficiencies or deficiencies occurring in stores.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain reports to help stores monitor and manage their business performance.
  • Coordinate / track all uniform planning with merchant team and issuance for store and field leadership.
  • Perform additional administrative or support tasks assigned to help the overall business.

ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE

Education and Certifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience and Skills :

  • Generally, 2-4 years administrative, retail operations or related experience.
  • Prior experience coordinating multi location support.
  • Strong understanding of how retail stores consume information and create communication strategies that will help drive awareness and adoption of processes and initiatives.
  • Competencies :

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Smartsheet, Outlook) and ability to learn company systems (e.g., Shiftnote, reporting tools, vendor portals).
  • Comfortable working with data, generating reports, and tracking metrics.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional partners and provide responsive support to stores.
  • Ability to follow established policies, procedures, and instructions.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard business hours during peak periods (e.g., inventories, end-of-month reporting).
  • Eligible for overtime as a non-exempt position.
  • Rate Range : $21.00 to $29.23 Hourly
