PCU RN Job Details Location : Attleboro, MA 02703 (Massachusetts healthcare jobs) Setting : Float Pool (Medical / Surgical & Telemetry Units) Contract Length : 14-week travel nursing contract Start Date : December 15, 2025 Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Charting System : Cerner (Epic experience also considered) Estimated Weekly Salary : $1890-$1940 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Massachusetts RN license (required at time of application) Minimum 2 years of recent PCU, Progressive Care, or Telemetry nursing experience ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred) Proven experience with cardiac patients and management of cardiac drips (no titration) Ability to interpret cardiac dysrhythmias and manage telemetry monitoring Experience with IV insulin protocols and titration of insulin drips Float pool or travel nurse experience preferred Proficiency with Cerner or Epic EMR systems preferred COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical exemption for flu considered) First-time travel nurses with 2-3 years of experience are encouraged to apply PCU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in medical, surgical, and telemetry units Float between units as needed during 12-hour night shifts Monitor and manage cardiac drips (e.g., Cardizem, Amiodarone) Interpret and respond to cardiac dysrhythmias and telemetry readings Administer and titrate IV insulin drips per hospital protocols Document all patient care activities using Cerner or Epic EMR systems Provide relief for Avasure office staff during breaks and meals Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Apply now to join our healthcare team as a travel PCU Registered Nurse in Attleboro, MA, and take the next step in your nursing career!
