Vankirk Electric is a leading national electrical contractor specializing in all phases of multi-family electrical construction. Projects range in size from garden style 100 unit complexes to high rise, high density, 800 unit projects.

We are in need of a full-time estimator to generate accurate cost analysis for projects in their early stages of development via Bluebeam.

Training will be provided!

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specs in a digital and physical environment
• Knowledge of estimating
• Knowledge of MS Excel

Preferred but not required Experience

1+ years of experience with engineering, construction management, building science, mathematics, or related field

Previous estimating experience using Stack, Accubid, ConEst, Esticom, McCormick

Skills

Intermediate computer skills (MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, etc.)

Bluebeam experience beneficial, but not required

Effective time management

Good math skills

Great analytical skills

Great attention to detail

Reads blueprints properly

Solves problems effectively
