Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN), your responsibilities will include conducting patient assessments, creating and implementing care plans, and evaluating treatment effectiveness within a collaborative interdisciplinary team.
Develop and continually adjust care plans based on patient responses.Collaborate effectively with team members to meet the unique needs of each patient.Administer medications and adhere to hospital policies regarding treatment.Delegate tasks to non-licensed personnel in accordance with industry standards.Provide exceptional pre- and post-operative care for patients.Educate patients and families on treatment processes and care options.Assist with discharge planning through teamwork.Requirements
Experience
Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).Preference for experience in acute care environments.Education
Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.License and Certifications
