POSITION SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Senior Special Procedures Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in supervising and coordinating the technical operations of Special Procedure technologists, ensuring seamless integration with professional staff, your immediate supervisor, and the Director of Radiology. You will have the opportunity to directly impact patient care related to Special Procedures / Interventional Radiology and ensure that all procedures are performed promptly and efficiently. Staying informed about new technical advancements and sharing departmental updates will be part of your responsibilities. You will actively support the values and policies of University Health, fostering excellent guest relations.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
To qualify for this position, you must possess a registry from the American Registry of Radiology Technologists and a license from the Texas Department of Health. A Bachelor’s degree along with Special Cardio Vascular certification is preferred. We require a minimum of two years of experience in Special Procedures and Interventional Radiology, as well as two years of supervisory experience.
