Job Title : Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)nJob Summary : nSpeech-Language Pathologist (SLP) assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communication sciences and a passion for helping individuals improve their communication skills and overall quality of life.nnKey Responsibilities : nEvaluate patients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.nnDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans.nnProvide direct therapy services to individuals with speech, language, or swallowing disorders.nnCollaborate with physicians, teachers, psychologists, and other professionals to develop effective treatment strategies.nnDocument patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.nnEducate patients, family members, and caregivers on treatment techniques and strategies.nnMaintain accurate and timely records in compliance with healthcare regulations.nnUse specialized equipment and techniques to treat communication and swallowing disorders.nnParticipate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to overall patient care plans.nnStay up-to-date with research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.nnRequired Qualifications : nMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.nnCertificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain.nnState-specific license or certification (as required).nnExcellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.nnAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.nnPreferred Qualifications : nExperience in educational, clinical, or rehabilitation settings.nnBilingual or multilingual abilities.nnKnowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.nnLicensing & Certification Requirements by State : nAll 50 U.S. states require Speech-Language Pathologists to be licensed or certified to practice.
