Job descriptionFocus on inpatient care only No outpatient responsibilities Responsibilities : Managing patients pre- and post-cardiac surgery Care for patients coming off ventilators Post-operative management of open-heart, VATS, and lung cases Patient Load : Average of 2025 patients on the service at any time Trauma Level : Level 1 Trauma Center EMR System : Epic Stroke Certification : Yes Support Provided : Collaborative team environment Licensure : Active Texas license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) Certifications : BLS (Basic Life Support) Experience : Board certification required; fellowship training preferred Credentialing timeframe : 57 days Temporary privileges are available for expedited onboarding Lodging and travel recommendations will be provided Insurance covered by the vendor Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a supportive team.
