About the Role :
The Project Engineer will provide technical support and coordination for the Project Manager and Super Intendant. The right PE will be able to support the Project Manager in all aspects of project delivery, including planning, design, budgeting, scheduling, and closeout activities.
Position Information :
- Full-time, onsite. Benefits eligible.
- The position is designated as exempt under FLSA and is not eligible for overtime compensation.
- Standard work hours are Monday – Friday, 8 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m., but may vary based on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities :
Champion Safety and Quality as core values, supporting site inspections and proactive planning to prevent injuries and rework.Collaborate with Preconstruction and Operations teams to drive productivity, execution efficiency, and margin performance.Track and report project progress, milestones, and schedule updates.Support QA / QC efforts, including document reviews, site observations, testing coordination, and quality reporting.Review project drawings and scopes to identify design and constructability issues early.Assist in preparing bid packages, scopes of work, and subcontract / purchase order documentation.Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders, maintaining accurate logs and documentation.Support project meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and action items.Collaborate with the project team to identify risks, resolve technical issues, and maintain alignment with client and company objectives.Assist with project closeout activities, including collection of warranties, as-builts, and closeout manuals.Qualifications :
Experience in construction project coordination or project management support.Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and materials.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.OSHA certifications are a plus.Why Join Us :
