Breakfast Attendant

General Overview: To greet and serve guests prepared food and beverages in a quick and efficient manner.

Reporting Relationship: Responsible for guests. Reports directly to the F&B manager.

Appearance Standards : Must wear a uniform provided by the hotel and a nametag. A neat and clean appearance must be maintained at all times.

Knowledge and Skills Required: Basic reading, writing, and math skills Certifications required by state and local laws. Must meet legal age requirements of state. Cash handling procedures experience. Customer service aptitude, interpersonal communication.

Physical Activities and Requirements: Standing, speaking, hearing, reading, writing, able to carry between 30-75 lbs. walking, lifting, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, bending and able to climb a ladder.

Essential Duties& Responsibilities:

Greet Guest promptly using your name, and prepared to inform guests of all specials and deliver menu

Have full knowledge of breakfast menu and any specials. Be prepared to answer an questions about the menu.

Pay special attention to the finer details of guest service, replenishing water, coffee, napkins flatware.

Clean as you go

Check your stations at the beginning of your shift to ensure proper setting and cleanliness of the breakfast area.

Do all assigned set-up work and side work as per se-up sheets and cleaning schedules.

You are responsible for all your receipts and any missing tickets will be closed to cash. You are responsible for those tickets closed to cash.

Relate all guest comments to the manager on duty.

A server is never to add a gratuity to a check without permission from both the guests and the Manager.

This is also a tipped plus hourly position.
