This role is a permanent full-time position working Monday-Friday.

What you will do as a Loader Operator :

• Load and unload logs as directed, ensuring production expectations are met.
• Remove logs from the kick out bin daily with the knuckle-boom loader.
• Ensure painted and oversized logs are taken to the metal yard, while others are placed back on the log deck.
• Perform daily cleanup duties around the metal log field and kick out bin.
• Fill in at the Scalehouse as needed, handling various scale functions and log loading / unloading.
• Perform or assist with weekly preventative maintenance on machinery and complete daily check sheets.
• Adhere to all safety rules and procedures, using personal protective equipment (PPE) and promoting safe work practices.

Experience and skills that will help you stand out :

Knowledge of the wood manufacturing industry and machine operator / maintenance experience are considered.
