Introduction

Join a dynamic team where you will support a new initiative focused on delivering high-quality data solutions. This role is part of the Solution Center team, where you will be expected to solve complex problems and perform code reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Recent experience with Cloudera and Hadoop is required, with a strong background in Unix and infrastructure.
Proficiency in Spark, Python, and Pyspark.
7 years of hands-on experience in software development, including 2 years in data engineering.
Experience with Hive and Impala and strong understanding of Java or Python.
5 years of experience in Hadoop; experience with Cloudera is a plus.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Strong background in SQL.

Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting.

Experience working in Agile teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong analytical skills and self-motivation with minimal direction needed.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Take ownership of project-related tasks and ensure their completion.

Collaborate with Solution Architects and technology groups to design, develop, and maintain software solutions.

Engage in client interactions as part of the role.
