Traffic Signal / ITS Foreman

Seeking a Traffic Signal / ITS Foreman for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Orange City, FL.

Pay is starting at $28+ per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of crews of traffic signal installer / ITS technician apprentices, traffic signal installers / ITS technicians, and traffic signal installer / ITS technician foremen.
• Work closely with the project foreman and project manager to ensure the efficient and successful completion of projects from start to finish.
• Responsible for the installation and maintenance of electronic traffic control devices.
• Assemble, install, service, test, repair, and adjust electrical and mechanical components of traffic signals and related equipment including traffic signal poles, overhead traffic signals, overhead signs, pedestrian features, and other related signal components.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to ensure code compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Physical Demands : Must be able to perform multiple tasks and can handle the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to, digging using a shovel, standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50lbs.
