Shift Supervisor

Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for a full-time Shift Supervisor position. Location is University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, 1000 South Limestone, Lexington, KY 40536. Note : online applications accepted only.

Schedule : Full time schedule. 6 : 30 am - 7 : 00 pm, 3 days a week. One six-hour shift and every other weekend required. Further details upon interview. Requirement : Microsoft Excel experience preferred. Perks : 401K! PTO! Discounted meals!

Fixed Pay Rate : $21.00 per hour.

Additional Job Duties and Responsibilities :

System Admin : Act as the go-to person for both the MyDelivery and Relay systems.
Contractual Data : Compile and present data relevant to contractual QPP's (off-cycle meal delivery, unit tray delivery, and / or other relevant tracking information).
Data Analysis : Look at reports from MyDelivery and Relay systems to enhance productivity.
Team Support : Act as central communicator for the team's use of software. Help staff with questions about use of technology.
Problem-Solving : Work with departments (Nursing, IT, Internal) to fix issues.
Patient Experience Audits : Regularly conduct phone calls to patients regarding their meal / delivery experience, and log feedback.

Job Summary : Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.

Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.

Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.

Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.

May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.

Perform other duties as assigned.
