Title : CT Technologist (Dual Modality – CT / X-Ray)

Location : Mount Pleasant, PA

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 4x10-Hour Mid / Night Shifts (13 : 00–23 : 00 or 21 : 00–07 : 00)

Job Responsibilities :

Perform CT and general radiographic imaging procedures on patients of all age groups.

Operate CT and X-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images following physician orders and facility protocols.

Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures ensuring accuracy, safety, and comfort.

Administer contrast media as required and monitor for any adverse reactions.

Ensure proper documentation and data entry into the facility’s charting system.

Maintain equipment functionality and follow radiation safety standards.

Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support efficient imaging workflow.

Float to other imaging areas within the hospital as needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

Experience : Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a CT Technologist; dual-modality experience in CT and X-ray required.

Certifications : ARRT (CT) required

ARRT (R) preferred

BLS certification required (per standard hospital requirement)

Licensure : Active Pennsylvania State Radiologic Technologist License (required at submission).

Technical Skills :

Proficient in performing CT scans (routine and contrast) and general radiography.

Ability to work independently on mid and night shifts.

Familiarity with PACS and general hospital imaging systems.

Preferred Qualifications :

Previous experience in a community hospital or similar acute care setting.

Strong multitasking and critical-thinking skills for handling both CT and X-ray procedures.
