NX NC Programmer
Responsibilities
- Responsible for determining the most efficient method of machining using efficient tool paths, techniques and tooling.
- Responsible for writing clear and thorough setup instructions on tool lists and setup sketches.
- Verify all programs written using Vericut to review for completeness and obvious errors (wrong geometry, tool crashes, etc).
- Utilize defined standard tooling packages as much as possible on specified machining cells.
- Effectively communicate with up and downstream internal customers on any manufacturing or producibility issues that arise or are foreseen.
- Conform to all requirements of Seyer Industries Quality System and all customer invoked quality requirements (AS-9100, for example).
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with 6S standards.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related duties as needed.
- Accomplish strategic departmental and organizational goals by completing related duties as needed.
