Job Title : Family Preservation Supervisor

Qualifications : An individual with strong convictions who is also in agreement with Josiah White’s mission statement, Statement of Faith, and Code of Conduct. Must hold a basic belief that children are meant to grow up within their family of origin whenever possible. A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family, or related Human Service field is required. Must possess a current license issued by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board, or be able to obtain upon hire. Must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions that would limit the ability to perform job functions. Must successfully complete provided training in evidence based models of family treatment upon hire.

Job Summary : The Family Preservation Supervisor directs and coordinates all caseload work and clinical services within assigned programming. This individual is responsible for providing training, treatment direction, case specific supervision, caseload assignment, and the approval of all written work of direct care staff under their supervision. This individual must have an understanding of clinical issues, treatment programming concepts, and counseling. This individual will ensure program compliance with all agency policies and procedures. This individual will create, reinforce, and evaluate staff contribution to a positive and therapeutic culture within Family Services programs. This individual must demonstrate sensitivity to our service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and needs.

Basic Responsibilities :

Treatment Oversight

• Implement, and maintain therapeutically sound treatment programming for children, youth, and families in care in line with Josiah White's mission, philosophy, and identified treatment modalities.
• Ensure program compliance with all agency policies and procedures. Provide accurate, definitive direction to staff regarding agency policies and procedures; troubleshoot new issues as they arise and provide consistent feedback.
• Provide ongoing evaluation of program effectiveness, identify programmatic enhancements, and coordinate implementation of new program strategies with appropriate Program Director aimed toward ensuring positive outcomes for families served.
• Assess referrals for Family Preservation Services.
• Assign caseloads and provide case-specific supervision with direct care staff.
• Provide treatment direction and oversight through individual supervision, treatment team facilitation, and direct oversight of service provision.
• Review and approve all relevant treatment documentation including but not limited to : Treatment Plans, Session Notes, Monthly Progress Reports, and Safety Assessments.
• Supervise the provision of evidenced-based treatment modalities including but not limited to CBT, MI, Seeking Safety, the Community Advocacy Project, and Triple P, ensuring treatment fidelity.
• Provide ongoing and daily support and direction to direct care staff.
• Provide 24 / 7 clinical and administrative oversight to direct care crisis response for families served.
• Ensure that all case documentation is approved and submitted for filing within appropriate timeframes.
• Ensure that Preservation Service files are properly maintained and meet standards established by contract requirements and accrediting bodies.
• Ensure client and customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem solving.
• May support supervision of other programs during times of coverage need or when other programming does not warrant a dedicated supervisor
