The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school‑based health centers, and health partners in related fields. More than 400 full‑time salaried physicians and advanced practice clinicians focus on patient‑centered care.

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Join an established group of 5 Nephrologists, 2 Nurse Practitioners
• 100% Nephrology Practice
• 50% outpatient clinic and hospital responsibilities at Bassett Medical Center
• 50% regional travel with focus in Oneonta and Cobleskill
• Potential for Medical Directorship of Dialysis Unit
• Call 11 weeks per year – Monday 8 AM – Monday 8 AM
• 30‑50 follow‑up dialysis patients
• 10‑30 follow‑up transplant patients
• Potential for faculty appointment from Columbia
• Daily interaction with medical students as well as Internal Medicine and Transitional residents.
• EMR‑EPIC
• Salary Range : $260,000 – $310,000. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
• Sign‑on Bonus up to $100,000
