Office Assistant
SERVPRO of South Albany County is seeking a qualified, career-oriented Office Assistant. SERVPRO is the largest cleaning and restoration company in the country. Our company specializes in the cleanup and restoration of residential and commercial property after a fire, smoke, or water damage situation.
Required Hours : 8 : 00am 5 : 00pm; Monday Friday (will require some flexibility)
Job Qualifications :
- 2 + years of administrative or office-related experience is preferred, but not required
- Construction / Restoration, or similar background, is preferred, but not required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required
- Ability to learn new software, including Xactimate and other proprietary software (experience with QuickBooks a plus)
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including, but not limited to, proper pronunciation and correct use of grammar
- Superb customer service skills, including the ability to remain courteous, calm, and professional during tense or stressful situations
- Able to thrive and remain focused in a fast-paced, team oriented office environment
- Extremely organized and able to effectively prioritize
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and have good decision-making skills
- Punctual
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license with a reasonable driving record
- Must be comfortable with occasional profanity
