Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible cardiologist

Primarily looking for hospital coverage and reading / imaging coverage such as stress testing, EKGs, monitors, echos, nuclear, cardiac mri, etc.

Inpatient rounding, consults, reading images, TEEs, proctoring stress tests (occasionally), etc. Will have a PA-C with them in the AM to assist most days

Shifts are 8am-5pm in hospital and 5pm to 8am Call

Provider would start at 8a to cover the hospital service

There will be an NP and PA also helping with coverage

Would need to do consults, periop TEEs, cardioversions, follow up consults, and answer questions other providers would have

Documentation of the consults and TEE / cardioversion would need to be done timely

Clinic 8a-5p then 5p-8a off-site call

May occasionally cover call and clinic during the day only, 8a-5p on Fridays

You'd be on call for the entire weekend when you're working at the facility

Typically doesn't require the doc to come in unless it's a stat TEE for a dissection. Rare for these but do occur from time to time

Most calls can be managed over the phone and triaged from hotel

Must stay within 30 min of the hospital. We have multiple hotels within 5 min radius of hospital
