POSITION# Managed Identity Services Engineer IPosting Date : Sep 4, 2025Location : Naples, FLEmployment Type : Full TimeDepartment : Managed Identity Services / SupportCompensation : Full-time, Salaried Exempt## POSITION SUMMARYThe Managed Identity Services Engineer I will be tasked with supporting production customers by monitoring solution health and responding to support requests. You will work within a support queue via assigned tickets and will focus on troubleshooting errors by reviewing event logs and workflow logic, or determining why a customer solution is not functioning as intended. Managed Identity Services Engineers are responsible for maintaining constant communication with customers whenever there is an open ticket in accordance with Fischer's service level agreements with our customers.# duties

• Identify and recommend areas of process improvement to gain operational efficiencies and improve the overall customer experience.
• Must be self-motivated and consistently review internal processes, enhancing product and solution knowledge as well as the IAM industry trends.
• Work in a high impact, high intensity environment and stay focused and organized.
• Designs, implements, and maintains enterprise grade identity & access management ("IAM") solutions for customers.
• Gather granular technical requirements from customer stakeholders and translate them into a configured solution within the Fischer Identity Suite.
• Design hierarchical security policies (RBAC, ABAC) based on customer-defined provisioning and de-provisioning policy requirements.
• Design and implement GRC solutions including PCI, SOX, HIPPA, and FERPA compliant solutions.
• Design and implement re-certification processes for customers to attest / remediate access annually.
• Build end-to-end enterprise grade IAM solutions including auto-event detection, workflow, self-service initiated access requests, help desk configurations, governance, and downstream target system automation including provisioning / de-provisioning, and access management.
• Design proper error handling methods into solutions to limit incident (ticket) creation and help desk intervention for on premise solutions and support cases for cloud-based deployments.
• Install the Fischer Identity Suite, including configuring the pre-requisites desired on customer servers.
• Meet tight customer deadlines while delivering robust, intelligent IAM solutions.
• Consult customers on best practices for IAM and work with customers to define / refine business processes.
• Implement password management and single sign on solutions including SSO, Federation & ADFS
• Analyze customer requirements and provide effort estimates to ensure customer expectations are properly set regarding project timing and cost.
• Create solution documentation for customer solutions.
• During an active go-live, you may need to be available to provide level 3 assistance to the Support group if / when problems arise with customer's production solutions which may occur at any time 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Work to support integrator partners in the design of solutions and travel onsite to client meetings.# qualifications

• An understanding of Identity Management and what it is intended to do and how it impacts a business environment.
• Understand the concepts of end user password resets, user experience and enterprise software deployments.
• Communicate technical nomenclature to business nomenclature to customers and other project stakeholders.
• Java scripting experience as well as experience with data validation techniques.
• The ability to understand LDAP filtering and syntax.
• The ability to understand the concept of groups and object orientation.
• Understand RBAC, ABAC and other formalized Identity Governance & Administration protocol and control constructs to aid in the implementation of enterprise Identity Management solutions. Education and Experience : Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience. Must have two (2) years' experience deploying Fischer Identity Suite or equivalent Identity Management technology. Physical Requirements : Position may require sitting at a desk or standing for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Certifications / Licenses / Registrations : N / A# special requirements Language / Social Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret customer requirements. The ability to consult customers on best practices on how to apply Identity concepts to business requirements. Analytical Skills – Ability to process and analyze vague, abstract verbal and written instructions and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to read, analyze customer supplied drawings and complex documents, and communicate analysis in oral or written form. Computer Skills – Must be proficient with Microsoft office programs, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Must have a comprehensive understanding of the Fischer Identity product suite and product capabilities. Automation experience with Active Directory, LDAP, Google Apps, MSSQL, Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, batch processing via flat file. Automated event detection techniques and an understanding of the technical mechanics of application integration and APIs. Experience deploying or supporting enterprise Identity Management Solutions. Experience in security discipline. Experience with NIST, and other control frameworks. Experience with ETL technology. Expert in Java Script. Experience with Regular Expression. Other Personal Skills and Attributes – Ability to actively learn and listen. Must possess critical thinking, complex problem-solving skills, and strong analytical capabilities. Must be self-motivated, pay attention to detail and can manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines. Must be able to handle confidential information with a high level of professionalism and discretion. Must also be able to function well in a high-paced and at times, stressful environment.# Travel, Work Hours, Supervision Travel Expectations : No travel required. This position does not require any travel.
