Senior Accountant

We are seeking an initiative-taking and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our firm. You will play a key role in the preparation of financial statements for tax and audit clients. The ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge of QuickBooks, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate with clients. We are a small but growing firm located in downtown Arlington close to shops, restaurants, and Arlington Music Hall.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred

4-6 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping; CPA a plus or CPA candidate

Strong computer skills, including QuickBooks; Proficient in Excel and Word

Responsibilities

Bookkeeping and data entry of client records and preparation of financial statements

Assist with audits and various reporting for nonprofit entities

Preparation of sales tax reports

Quarterly and annual payroll reports

Assist with client tracking and billing

Schedule : Regular, but willing to offer flexible hours
