Job descriptionPossess the ability to understand and follow instructions and communicate effectively. Commercial laundry experience is desirable, but not required. Ability to process 50-100 pounds of laundry at a time. Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression. Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality. Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Laundry Associate
We are currently hiring a part-time laundry associate with the schedule being every weekend from 2 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM and Wednesday from 8 : 00 AM to 2 : 00 PM.
About The Role
The laundry associate is responsible for carrying out the normal activities of the laundry, including washing, ironing, folding, sorting, etc. of clothing and linens.

- Collects, cleans, and redistributes the community laundry.
- Ensures that all health center laundry is properly sorted, washed, and dried according to state and federal regulations.
- Ensures that the laundry is maintained in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.
- Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
- Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by the supervisor.
- Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
