City of Hope Orange County is seeking a dedicated and proactive Sr. Radiation Safety Specialist to join our dynamic team at the Lennar Foundation Cancer Center
and the Orange County Hospital.
In
this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the safe and compliant use of radiation across our facilities, directly contributing to our mission of delivering innovative cancer treatments and compassionate care.

As a successful candidate, you will :
Conduct thorough inspections of laboratories using radioactive materials, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
Prepare and review monthly and quarterly dosimetry reports, maintaining meticulous records of radiation exposure.
Sealed Source P
rogram Management : Supervise the sealed source program, including leak testing and inventory management of radioactive material.
Qualifications
Your qualifications should include :
Bachelor's Degree in Physical, Biological Sciences, or Engineering.
Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations governing radiation safety in healthcare settings.
