Our client, an investment firm, is seeking a Data Product Analyst to join their team in Los Angeles, CA!

Responsibilities :

• Data Dictionary Management : Develop, maintain, and update a Comprehensive Data Dictionary, ensuring all critical attributes across client's data ecosystem are defined and standardized.
• Conceptual Data Model Ownership : Continuously refine client's Conceptual Data Model, ensuring their key data domains and entities and their interconnectivity are captured.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate closely with business data owners, end-users, and other stakeholders to understand data needs, challenges, and objectives.
• Data Analysis : Analyze existing data sources and workflows to identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Requirements Gathering : Create clear and detailed documentation of data requirements, including data definitions, sources, formats, and relationships, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Support : Provide ongoing support and training to business users on the use of the Data Dictionary and Conceptual Data Model.
• Comprehensive Documentation : Develop detailed documentation, including process flows, data models, data dictionaries, use cases, technical requirements, and user stories, ensuring clarity for development teams and stakeholders.
• Guidelines and Best Practices : Develop data quality guidelines and best practices for end users to reduce the likelihood of future issues.
• Data Governance : Champion data governance efforts, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
