Tenure-track Assistant / Associate Professor of Accounting (2 positions available)

LEHIGH UNIVERSITY. The Department of Accounting invites applications for two positions, a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Accounting and a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026.

The successful candidates will be expected to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, engage in scholarly activities, participate in departmental, college, and university service, and contribute to the university’s community outreach efforts. Their initial rank (Assistant or Associate) will depend on their previous experience, as will the option for tenure on appointment for a candidate hired as Associate Professor.

The Department of Accounting provides students with outstanding accounting education and networking opportunities and advances the profession of accountancy by producing leading accounting research and interdisciplinary scholarship. We prepare students to enter the accounting profession upon graduation, assume positions of leadership in the global business community later in their careers, and be socially responsible and ethical business professionals. Qualifications

Applicants must have an earned Ph.D. in Accounting from an accredited institution by the date of employment, a demonstrated ability or potential for high-quality research and teaching in accounting, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
