Job Description :

Join CDM Smith in either our Nashville or Knoxville offices and make a difference while working with a fantastic team supporting state and municipal highway design projects and project delivery throughout Tennessee and the Southeast region!

• You will be performing interchange / highway design, roadway widening, roundabout / superstreet design, and low-impact bridge replacement, and producing construction bid plans and documents, writing roadway design reports, preparing construction cost estimates & design specifications, as well as coordinating with our clients.
• You will have the opportunity to provide technical guidance and training to more junior staff as well as review the work of more junior staff.

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Transportation, or Structural Engineering or related discipline. Professional engineering (PE) license. 7 years of related experience. Domestic and / or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
