Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 15 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Opportunity : RN - Med Surg Job Details : Work 4x12 hour day shifts (48 hours per week) Patient ratio of 1 : 7 with team nursing support from PCC, LPN, and other staff On-call required as needed Weekend coverage required as needed No block scheduling accommodated (weekend block may be considered with interview discussion) Care for adult and geriatric patients with general medical-surgical conditions Work in 48-bed unit with daily census of 46 patients Must have 2 years recent experience in medical-surgical nursing (3 years preferred) Level I Trauma experience required Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted Large hospital experience required Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Required skills : interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV starts and maintenance, telemetry monitoring Active RN license required (compact license accepted) Cerner experience preferred ADN acceptable for this position Flu vaccination required with no exemptions Must work 2 of 3 major holidays if assignment covers Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Must live at least 100 miles from facility Floating between like units and campuses within 20 miles may be required but will be rare Facility : This healthcare organization operates as a short-term acute care facility and Level I Trauma Center, providing comprehensive emergency and critical care services.
