• Oversee the care provided by LPNs, Certified Nursing Assistants, and other team members, ensuring residents receive excellent care.\n
• Coordinate nursing care on the unit, ensuring each resident is matched with skilled staff.\n
• Administer safe and precise medication interventions for residents.\n
• Assess residents' health and promptly communicate any changes to physicians while implementing new orders as required.\n
• Develop and execute individualized care plans based on thorough assessments.\n
• Select and implement suitable nursing interventions to maintain or improve residents' conditions and prevent complications.\n
• Contribute to resident assessments (MDS / CAA's) and participate in developing care plans.\n\nQualifications : \n
• ADN or BSN required.\n
• Understanding of basic nursing practices with a focus on gerontological nursing.\n
• Preferred : 2 years of experience in a long-term care environment.\n\nLicensure and Certifications : \n
• Must possess a current state license to practice as a registered nurse (RN).\n
• Current CPR certification is necessary.\n
