    • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses : Active PA medical license
  • Board : Board Certified in Rheumatology
  • DEA : Active DEA Certification
  • Certifications : BLS
  • Experience : Minimum 1 year in specialty
  • Other Qualifications : Ability to function independently and manage established patient panel
  • Would consider 2 candidates who could each cover consistently 2 weeks / month on a regular ongoing schedule

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide in-person and virtual patient visits
  • Manage established patient panel and assist with care of existing patients
  • Review and sign therapy plans and infusion orders
  • Oversee infusions performed at UPMC infusion center
  • Provide laboratory surveillance and medication refills
  • Conduct new patient visits (40 minutes) and follow-up visits (20 minutes)
  • Perform joint injections
  • Document all patient encounters in Epic EMR
