Location : Blue Ash, OH (On-Site)

Pay : $115,000-130,000 (compensation can vary depending on experience) + Benefits, Community Involvement, PTO, 401k match (10% dollar for dollar), Roth contribution

General Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing Data team in Cincinnati. This position replaces a former Database Admin role but is evolving into a more engineering-focused opportunity due to the organization’s move toward Snowflake. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing our data environment while helping mentor junior team members.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to step into a technical leadership role — guiding others, owning critical data projects, and serving as a subject matter expert, without the need for direct managerial responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrations.
• Support and enhance the organization’s move to Snowflake and cloud-based data solutions.
• Partner with junior data engineers to provide mentorship, guidance, and technical direction.
• Develop and optimize data models, ETL processes, and data warehouse structures.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and performance.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing data systems.
• Serve as a bridge between data leadership and hands-on engineering teams.
