Industrial Maintenance Technician Pay : $30-39 / Hour Location : Kent, WA Shift : Day Shift

Job Description

The Industrial maintenance technician will be adept in maintaining and operating various systems including shot peening machinery, HVAC systems, air compressors, and rectifier systems. The role involves performing welding tasks, maintaining monitoring equipment, and providing mentorship to junior technicians. Flexibility, adaptability, and strong communication skills are essential in this fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain punctual attendance according to shift schedules and be available for on-call plant production emergencies.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Operate facilities equipment such as power tools, hoists, cranes, forklifts, and scissor lifts safely.
• Maintain complete knowledge of facilities systems, including powder coating, HVAC, and NDT systems.
• Operate production facilities equipment, including ovens, immersion tanks, and paint booths.
• Order and inventory materials, tools, accessories, and parts for production facility departments.
• Perform Stick, MIG, and TIG welding and operate machine tools for repairs or fabrication.
• Conduct maintenance on air compressors and plumbing systems.
• Perform electrical work and repairs on machinery and equipment.
• Inspect, dismantle, and repair defective machines and equipment.
• Handle heavy lifting or use mechanical hoists as needed.
• Work in environments with exposure to chemicals, odors, and variable weather conditions.

Work Environment

You will work in a facility dedicated to finishing aerospace parts, with exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and chemicals. You will be part of a small team with a maintenance technician available on each shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $39.00 / hr.
