If you enjoy the rhythm of a busy warehouse and operating a forklift, this role puts you at the center of shipping, receiving, and inventory flow—all while delivering exemplary service to internal and external customers.
What you’ll do
- Unload inbound trucks and unpack materials.
- Match shipments to the bill of lading and packing list; partner with Purchasing and other departments to resolve discrepancies.
- Inspect incoming goods and apply damage identification when needed.
- Record receipts on the correct purchase orders and distribute documentation to appropriate personnel.
- Post material receipts in the ERP system within 24 hours.
- Pull parts from storage and stage materials.
- Verify the accuracy of outbound shipments.
- Package outbound shipments to ensure they arrive undamaged.
- Maintain proper filing and archiving of documents.
- Operate a forklift to move goods around the facility as required.
- Follow warehouse processes, keep work areas clean, and abide by all Flowserve safety requirements.
- Communicate clearly and speak the "language of logistics."
- Other duties as assigned.
Is this you?
Comfortable with basic computer tasks and Microsoft Office.Willing to work occasional overtime, including evenings and weekends.Physically able to stand for long periods; walk many steps; kneel, twist, and bend.Can regularly lift / move up to 50 lbs and occasionally buddy-lift / move more than 100 lbs.Have close, distance, color, and peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus.Thrives in a production environment with multiple product changeovers and can multitask effectively.Eager to learn and cross-train across different functions.Strong communicator with solid interpersonal skills and comfort using logistics terminology.Nice to have
Previous material handling and forklift experience.Forklift certification.Familiarity or working knowledge of ERP systems.Analytical, research, and problem-solving strengths.High attention to detail.High school diploma or GED; 0–2 years of relevant experience.
