The Northwell Health Cancer
Institute seeks a full-time, board-certified hematologist
& medical oncologist with an interest in genitourinary medical
oncology to join the team at Imbert Cancer Center
based in Bay Shore, Long Island
their families, is located in the heart of Long Island’s South
Shore. Our team includes surgical oncology, hematology / medical
oncology, radiation oncology, interventional radiology, and
diagnostic radiology. This multidisciplinary approach ensures that
we provide the best care and outcome possible while meeting all
your physical and emotional needs. Our units are staffed by
specially trained oncology nurses. The distinguished faculty have
trained and worked at some of the most prestigious academic
institutions in their fields and have achieved regional, national,
and international recognition for their work in clinical care,
research, and education.
The cancer program at Imbert
Cancer Center is part of the Northwell Health Cancer
Institute , which treats more than 16,000 patients with
cancer, giving patients access to the services of more than 200
Cancer Institute physicians in more than 25
sub-specialties. The Feinstein Institute for Medical
Research is home to Northwell Health’s research and is an
epicenter for scientific discovery and innovation, including basic
science and clinical research in molecular medicine, genetics,
oncology, brain research, mental health, autoimmunity, and
bioelectronic medicine. In 2015, Northwell Health
and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory began a
strategic affiliation to accelerate cancer research, diagnosis, and
treatment. This collaboration offers the ability to deliver cancer
therapeutics to patients throughout the region, while also meeting
the comprehensive medical and surgical needs of those with cancer
and at risk of the disease.
