Overview
Insulet started in 2000 with an idea and a mission to enable people living with diabetes to enjoy simplicity, freedom, and healthier lives using the tubeless Omnipod product platform. We are looking for a creative, user-focused Motion / Production Designer to develop dynamic digital learning experiences and re-imagine how our customers learn to use our products through innovation in product training methods, learning materials, user guides, and embedded mobile learning. This role is hybrid and located in Acton, MA or San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and develop visual content, including graphics, motion, animation, and video for online instructional use
- Collaborate closely with the Instructional Design and broader UX team on storytelling to define and create safe, effective, and engaging learning experiences
- Work in a fast-paced agile environment with cross-functional teams, generating motion graphics and video learning that tells a story and engages the audience
- Partner with User Research and Human Factors to iteratively test concepts and apply user-centered design best practices
- Present design concepts and user experience vision through storyboards, prototypes, wireframes, or interactive presentations to teams, leadership, and customers
- Collaborate with Clinical and Human Factors to ensure designs are safe, effective and meet regulatory guidelines for a medical device while maintaining a high standard of user delight
- Contribute to corporate UX / ID design language, standards, and frameworks as the brand evolves
- Assist with tactical and innovation instructional design initiatives within an agile environment for digital learning experiences in the UX Instructional Design team
- Be mentored by senior staff in all aspects of UX / ID work to grow as a motion / production designer

Note : This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements (onsite 1-3 days per week; may work remotely other days).
US base salary range for this full-time role : $69,450.00 – $104,175.00. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on work location and factors including skills, experience, and education or training. Compensation details reflect base salary only and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
