What You'll Do : Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any suspicious behavior or activity in and around the location, including parking areas and building access points. Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and / or contractors to provide assistance and information as required. Document security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client protocols. Support access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain order during shift hours. Collaborate with Allied Universal management, site leadership, and local authorities as needed to address incidents or emergencies. Minimum Requirements : At least one year of security-related experience is required. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
