Ellsworth Corporation, a global, industry leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer currently has a Distribution Center Supervisor opportunity at Ellsworth Adhesives. This role reports into SCD, an Ellsworth Corporation company located in Germantown, WI. This is an on-site position. You will direct personnel and daily operational activities within the Distribution Center and support and advance the larger strategic goals of the DC by ensuring the efficient processing of workflow and achieving key process and operational cost improvements in accordance with established company policies and procedures. You will also foster a safe team environment.

Responsibilities :

• Drives compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives
• Serves as the Distribution Operations Subject Matter Expert rotating, flexing, and training employees on each aspect of the warehouse / distribution processes (Freight, Returns, Receiving, Restock and Transfers)
• Defines and applies cross training needs in all warehouse team functions to support customer demand and satisfaction
• Keenly understands DC operational goals, identifies gaps, and recommends continuous process improvement solutions
• Actively assists with CI implementation
• Participates in the full-range of people-management responsibilities, including performance reviews, compensation, recommendations, coaching and development, hiring recommendations, and disciplinary actions
