Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : RN Specialty : Medical / Surgical Telemetry Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Shift Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : Minimum of 2 years Med / Surg Telemetry experience required License : Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state / district required Certifications : NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS required Must-Have : BSN highly desired, Cerner experience required Description : Must live over 50 miles away. This role fulfills the needs of patients, families, and the community by performing various patient care functions and tasks according to licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner. Applies knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan necessary to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret it in terms of the patients' needs. Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients. Makes initial assessments and determines the appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by proper documentation. Performs initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. Completes admission assessments within the established time frame according to policy and procedures.
