Trajectory Energy Partners, a solar energy development company, is seeking a highly motivated and talented Transaction Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our solar development activities, focusing on transaction strategy and execution, project due diligence and program compliance. You will work closely with our senior management, project teams, and external stakeholders to ensure the successful transaction and financing of solar projects across our portfolio. Trajectory works with communities across the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic to develop community solar and utility scale solar projects. Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of a project transaction and finance strategy, including identifying potential opportunities, conducting market research, and evaluating new partners.
- Review status of portfolio sales with the internal team weekly to ensure the sale process advances in a timely manner.
- Contribute to weekly calls with external partners.
- Manage the documentation process for all project sales, ensuring a full accounting of all due diligence items and timely updates to data rooms.
- Work with internal teams to prepare projects for sale by tracking open items and contributing to solutions.
- Support internal and external processes to meet acquisition deadlines.
- Assign key diligence tasks to appropriate team members and ensure timely completion to maintain sale timeline.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless coordination throughout the project sale process.
- Prepare bid documents and organize historical bid data.
- Monitor projects post close to ensure TEP fulfills MIPA obligations and facilitate a successful transfer of project to Buyer.
- Support project compliance with incentive program requirements, staying up-to-date with evolving policies and guidelines, and contributing to company engagement on critical policy issues.
- Support project and process management, including Airtable and CRM databases.
- Travel as needed
Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance or related field, or other experience that demonstrates strong analytical skills and detail orientation.Strong written and verbal communication.Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.Strong organizational skills.Effective time management skills to meet frequently changing deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.Ability to discern complex situations into digestible, completable steps.Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with Airtable or other databases and / or CRM software is helpful.Experience with ChatGPT or other AI models is helpful.Ability to manage and track a high volume of information and documents including use of Microsoft Office and online data management tools such as Box.Knowledge of energy or renewable energy development is helpful.Background in transactions or investment banking is helpful.Benefits at Trajectory
