District Manager

The Daily Local News, a subsidiary of MediaNews Group, is seeking a District Manager to join the team! This position requires a flexible schedule with overnight hours.

What You Will Do

• Establishes, reviews, and adjusts route delivery boundaries to maximize service and minimize expenses
• Reviews and holds accountable IC performance results in both service and sales to maintain company standards
• Oversees / Assists in the distribution of company products to IC
• Maintains company-established complaint ratio standard and dispatches customer complaints daily
• Responds to customer complaints to ensure excellent service
• Delivers newspapers on open routes for home delivery and post offices
• Manages and schedules assigned part-time employees

Benefits and Compensation

The hourly wage range is $14.00 - $16.00. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to geographic location, education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, the Company offers eligible employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, as well as paid time off and select paid holidays (all benefits are based on eligibility).
