Job descriptionMaterial Handler and Delivery experience, preferably with freight over 50 pounds Experience driving 16+ feet trucks, preferably 26 ft trucks Department of Transportation med card and safe driving history Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail. Skill to handle materials safely and carefully, minimizing possible damage. Ability to learn and utilize daily company Enterprise RP software system. Previous building materials experience a plus. Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced Material Handler & Driver to join our Ft Myers team. The Material Handler & Driver will load and unload doors and trim, while maintaining the general organization of the warehouse. They will also assist with job-site deliveries.
Material Handler & Driver Responsibilities :
- Accept and unload inbound shipments.
- Verify, inspect, and receive all deliveries according to standards
- Report any defective items, or shipping or receiving issues, to Warehouse Manager
- Pull and stage jobs daily capturing all needed stock and ordered materials
- Load outbound trucks utilizing hand trucks and / or forklifts
- Transport materials to individual job sites, and unload materials.
- Perform cycle counts on stock inventory and restock materials.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
