Job descriptionLicensed Land Surveyor (LLS) in New Hampshire, or eligibility for licensure. Strong proficiency with surveying instruments and related software. Knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and applicable legal requirements. Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Our client, a well-established engineering and development firm, is seeking an experienced Surveying Professional to join their Portsmouth office. This role will be central to supporting a wide range of land development projects across New Hampshire and neighboring regions. Candidates based in Maine or northern Massachusetts are strongly encouraged to apply.
What Youll Do
- Perform boundary, topographic, and ALTA / NSPS Land Title Surveys.
- Operate and manage surveying instruments, including total stations, GPS equipment, and data collectors.
- Process field data in compliance with NH-BOLS standards.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports, drawings, and plans.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Guide and oversee survey crew members in the field.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal surveying regulations.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient team environment.
