We are currently looking for a Manager - Engineering to join our team in Holland, MI.
Job Summary
As Quality Manager, you'll lead the development and deployment of quality systems across multiple product lines and locations, ensuring alignment with Haworth's commitment to design, performance, and customer satisfaction. You'll champion continuous improvement through data driven insights, audits, and collaboration across teams from Customer Service to Manufacturing. Your role includes driving strategic initiatives in quality governance, process optimization, and member development. With a focus on eliminating waste and enhancing cycle times, you'll help shape the future of our workspace solutions. This position supports operations across multiple sites, requiring strong leadership and a passion for excellence in every detail.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders : Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including product management, manufacturing, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies : Develop and implement engineering strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives : Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within engineering processes, implementing changes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead a culture of inclusion and belonging, promoting member engagement, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
- Manage a team of engineering professionals : Lead, manage, and motivate a team of engineering professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
- Manage departmental budgets and resources : Manage departmental budgets, allocate resources effectively, and track expenses to ensure financial responsibility.

- Oversee complex engineering projects : Oversee the execution of complex engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Engineering Management or similar field of studyEducation Equivalency : Associate's Degree plus 2 additional years of Quality, Engineering, Data Analysis, or Project Management experience OR 4 additional years Quality, Engineering, Data Analysis, or Project Management experience if no post-secondary educationMinimum 5 years of professional experience in Quality, Engineering, Data Analysis, or Project Management, preferably in a manufacturing or product development setting2 years supervisory experienceWork Experience : 5 years related experienceSupervisory Experience : 2 years supervisory experienceMilitary Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org / vets / find / militaryApplicants must be able to work inHolland, MI without relocation assistanceApplicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this positionPreferred Qualifications
