Duties

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities to ensure optimal patient care.
• Conduct utilization management to assess the appropriateness of patient care services.
• Provide health coaching to patients, promoting wellness and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects.
• Collaborate with medical staff on acute pain management strategies.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations to determine patient needs and treatment plans.
• Oversee sterile processing procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Assist in family planning discussions and provide relevant education to patients.
• Phlebotomize patients as needed for laboratory testing.

Requirements

Current nursing license and relevant certifications.

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting.

Strong knowledge of utilization management principles and practices.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Proficiency in medication administration and acute pain management techniques.

Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and sterile processing standards.
