Job Summary and Qualifications

Your responsibilities will include :

POSITION SUMMARY

Position Summary : Reports To (title) : Supervises (title) : Responsible to the Director of Surgical Services or OR Manager. Under the direct supervision of the charge nurse and / or the circulating nurse in the room. At this level, the surgical technologist functions independently in all Level I, Level II and Level III procedures. Also serves as a preceptor for new staff. Responsible to take first and second call as required by the department. Is responsible for appropriate instrumentation adjustment relevant to the ages and sizes of the patients served, i.e. Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric. OR Manager / Director, Surgical Services

In addition to ER care, both facilities give comprehensive imaging services, including computerized tomography (CT scan), Xray, and ultrasound as well as a fully-equipped medical laboratory.
