VP of Sales

Founder and CEO Yuanming (Ethan) Hu earned his Ph.D. in graphics and AI from MIT, where he developed the acclaimed Taichi GPU programming language (27K stars on GitHub, used by 300+ institutes). His work is highly influential, including an honorable mention for the SIGGRAPH 2022 Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award and over 2,700 research citations.

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on VP of Sales to build and scale Meshy's enterprise business. This is a true builder role you'll roll up your sleeves, drive deals from start to finish, and set up the GTM systems, team, and playbook that fuel our next phase of growth. You'll lead by example, break into new accounts, and work closely with Product and Marketing to bring our AI-powered 3D technology to more companies around the world.

What You'll Do :

  • Build and lead Meshy's B2B sales motion across SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments.
  • Personally drive key strategic deals end-to-end while shaping a repeatable sales process around it.
  • Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team (AEs, AMs, SDRs).
  • Define ICPs, territories, pricing, and quota structures to support predictable growth.
  • Partner with Product and Marketing on messaging, lead generation, and customer feedback loops.
  • Create a data-driven sales process from pipeline management to forecasting and win / loss insights.
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic partnerships, expansion plays, and revenue strategy.

What We're Looking For :

  • 10+ years of SaaS sales experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success scaling revenue in a high-growth environment (ideally taking a company to $50M+ ARR).
  • Strong background in selling technical SaaS products.
  • Quick thinker, resourceful, and eager to solve complex customer problems.
  • True hunter mindset experience breaking into new large accounts from scratch.
  • Analytical and disciplined; excellent at pipeline hygiene, forecasting, and deal reviews.
  • Clear communicator with strong executive presence and collaboration skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment and enjoys building from the ground up.
  • Nice To Have :

  • Experience in 3D, gaming, or creative software industries.
  • Engineering or technical background (comfortable discussing AI workflows).
  • Early-stage GTM experience (SeedSeries B) building the playbook, not just running one.
  • Familiarity with modern sales stacks like Attio, Apollo, or Clay.
