There is one position available which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidates' education, experience, knowledge skills, and abilities. Position can be located in Cayce, South Carolina or Richmond, Virginia. This role is responsible for performing activities associated with analyzing, forecasting, and financial reporting related to sales and revenue activity for Dominion Energy South Carolina "DESC". This function is critical in support of regulatory proceedings, financial planning, and long-term strategic planning.

Responsibilities Include :

• Forecast electric and gas sales and revenue.
• Analyze sales and revenue results to support monthly variance explanations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to reconcile earnings variances, prepare current year forecasts and develop long-term budgets for DESC sales and revenue.
• Perform data analytics to analyze historical trends and provide business insights.
• Performs accounting due diligence and supports revenue related SOX controls.
• The successful applicant will be expected to mine large volumes of historical billed and unbilled data (including AMI data) and transform that data into useful information that will help explain revenue variances and customer electric usage over time.
• Position will be the lead in forecasting DESC's gas peak demand and revenue forecasts.
• Leverage big data platforms to advance forecasting methodologies, explain existing and developing sales and revenue usage trends.
• Support the development of new processes to promote greater transparency of the sales and revenue function to internal customer groups

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Financial Analyst : 3-5+ years of related experience, Senior Financial Analyst : 5+ of related experience. Note : A Master's degree will count as one year towards the experience requirement.

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education : Bachelor's or Master's degree Preferred disciplines : Finance, Data Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Statistics or related Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.
