Join Our Team as the Director of Surgical and Perioperative Services!

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Director of Surgical and Perioperative Services to lead our dynamic team in the Operating Room department.

About the Role

As the Director, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our Culture of Choice® and ensuring that our strategic goals are not just met, but exceeded. You will oversee various functional areas, including :

  • Post Anesthesia Care (PACU)
  • Pre-Admission Testing (PAT)
  • Main Operating Room
  • Endoscopy
  • Sterile Processing
  • Anesthesia Support Services

This full-time position operates from 8 AM to 5 PM , with a commitment of 40 hours per week . You will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and assume 24-hour responsibility for your areas.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • SYSTEM RELIABILITY | QUALITY & SAFETY : Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

  • COMMUNITY INVESTMENT | FINANCE : Oversee effective budget planning and administration to ensure cost-efficient operations.

    • What We’re Looking ForRequirements :

  • Formal Education : Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's preferred. Candidates currently enrolled in a BSN program may be considered.
  • Work Experience : Over 5 years of surgical services experience required, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Licenses & Certifications :

    • State of Florida RN License

  • BCLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • National Surgical Services certification preferred (e.g., CNOR, CPAN, CAPA)
  • Sigma Six Green Belt certification required within one year of employment
