Job descriptionAchievable without having to double book patients $1500 / year towards Continuing Education Three-month mentoring period to ramp up to full caseload Critical Reasoning Development Seminar for new grads to gain further confidence with assessing and developing a plan of care for common orthopedic conditions Leadership Development Series geared towards those seeking management or leadership positions and how to tackle communication, coaching, and developing strong teams Educational and collaborative opportunities with physicians We offer a competitive compensation package that includes health, life, dental, and vision insurance, generous PTO accrual, as well as 401K, profit sharing, employee assistance program, and disability coverage Sports Medicine Foot & Ankle Group Manual Therapy Vestibular / Concussion Rehab Performing Arts OrthoSync : Comprehensive, coordinated surgical and rehabilitative care for Medicare patients undergoing joint replacements OrthoHealth : Metabolic approach to joint health and weight loss utilizing rehabilitation, health coaching, and nutritional counseling Exceptional patient care Interprets physician orders, performs initial evaluations and establishes treatment plans and functional goals Responsible for upgrading and amending the treatment goals as necessary during the episode of care Written documentation on patient status to physicians per compliance guidelines of IBJI rehab Determine appropriate discharge timeline and appropriate follow up Supervision of Rehabilitation Technicians with patient care and administrative staff as needed Compliance with daily paperwork. PT / PTAs / ATCs are responsible for documenting all treatment in patient charts in a timely manner (initial evals, daily notes, progress notes, discharges, HEP) Stays current with billing policies and demonstrates ethical billing practices Maintains active state license by earning appropriate CEUs through outside courses and IBJI sponsored educational opportunities Develops positive relationships with the physician teams at IBJI Takes an active role in the patient medial team : office visits with physicians, contact with case managers, etc. Participates in programs sponsored by IBJI : Mentoring, clinical educator, special interest group, community outreach Graduate from accredited Physical Therapy Program Licensed or eligible to sit for boards in the state of Illinois Ability to work in a fast paced environment Professional and effective writing and verbal communication skills Ability to lift greater than 25 pounds Demonstrates good understanding of proper body mechanics for lifting, pulling, pushing Ability to be stand and sit for sequences of time greater than 30 minutes Ability to work on a computer for lengthy times during the day

Job Summary
The position is under the general direction of the Facility Manager. The main focus of the position is on providing superior outpatient rehabilitation services through a collaborative care model with our physicians in order to optimize performance and enhance the quality of function for our patients.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills and relevant experience.
