Job Summary

Administer anesthesia, monitor patient's vital signs, and oversees patient recovery from anesthesia. Participates in the delivery of all types of anesthetics under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist

For employees working in the state of Virginia, a Nurse Practitioner License is required with a specialization in Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Employees working in North Carolina, only a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist license is required.

Qualifications :

MLD - Master's Level Degree : Nurse Anesthetist (Required), N-4YR - RN-Bachelor's Level Degree (Required)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Certification - National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA), Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Certification - Other / National, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Nursing License - North Carolina, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Nursing License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - North Carolina, Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP), Registered Nurse License (RN) - Nursing License - Compact / Multi-State License
