Responsibilities Work in a general ultrasound department with a focus on maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) and obstetrics Flexible schedule offering 4x10 hour day shifts (7 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM) or 5x8 hour days No weekend or on-call requirements May occasionally float between facilities within the health system if requested Modules must be completed during orientation and scheduled shifts Primary responsibilities include performing a full range of ultrasound procedures, with a focus on high-risk obstetric and maternal-fetal medicine cases Work as part of a collaborative ultrasound team within the radiology / cardiology department Candidates may be required to travel to Illinois for fingerprinting if not currently listed as 'Eligible' in the IL Healthcare Worker Registry Medical and religious accommodations for vaccines are considered case-by-case All requests for time off must be submitted upfront and cannot be changed after submission Candidates who live within 75 miles of the facility are considered local and are eligible for a local pay rate Requirements ARDMS certification relevant to specialty area is required MFM and OB ultrasound experience required Graduate of an accredited medical sonography program with a diploma or certificate of completion Current BLS certification through AHA High school diploma or GED equivalent required Zero to two years of experience in a relevant ultrasound role required; three or more years preferred RVT through ARDMS or RVS certification through CCI accepted for vascular ultrasound Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and exert push / pull force up to 50 pounds Must have an Illinois state license in hand prior to consideration; license required if applicable All required references and supporting documentation must be submitted for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-616791.
